Over 300 residents of Rochdale Village joined the Board of Directors to launch the Community Center’s new fitness room on Saturday, March 10 at 10 a.m. Only a year ago, the Board ratified resolution R09-17 that allowed management to proceed with construction of a state-of-the-art fitness room in the newly refurbished Rochdale Village Community Center. Well folks, the 1,600 square foot space is ready and operable just in time for beach season.
Once the full registration vetting process is completed, exercise buffs will be able to achieve a total body workout anytime between the hours of 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on any one of the cardiovascular stations, strength-training areas, wall-mounted and freestanding weight posts.
The fitness room is a great complement to the cooperative’s two inter-generational exercise parks that were launched in September 2014 and August 2015. Rochdale residents now have exclusive access to an indoor exercise facility for less than $8.33 per month. Who could ask for anything more?
